Adoption of Multilateral Instrument 45-102, National Instrument 21-101 and National Instrument 23-101

The Minister of Justice has approved The Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments) Amendment Regulations, 2001 (No. 6). The regulations adopt the following national instruments and Companion Policies:

• National Instrument 21-101 Marketplace Operation, and Companion Policy 21-101 effective December 1, 2001; 
• National Instrument 23-101 Trading Rules, and Companion Policy 23-101 effective December 1, 2001; and
• Multilateral Instrument 45-102 Resale of Securities, and Companion Policy 45-102 effective November 30, 2001.
  

General Ruling/Order 45-801 Implementing Multilateral Instrument 45-102 Resale of Securities grants exemptions necessary to implement Multilateral Instrument 45-102.  It also amends prior Commission rulings to substitute the resale rules in MI 45-102 for the resale rules in the rulings.
