GRO 33-903 Permanent Registration System

On December 9, 2002, the Director of the Saskatchewan Securities Commission made General Ruling/Order 33-903 Permanent Registration System ("GRO 33-903"). GRO 33-903 grants an exemption from the provisions of subsections 4(1) and 4(2) of Saskatchewan Local Instrument 33-503 Permanent Registration System ("LI 33-503").

The exemption extends a firm’s grace period when it fails to file annual fees by December 15 of any year. It provides that if a firm does not file required fees on December 15, then the firm’s registration is suspended on January 15 of the following year, instead of on December 31 of the same year as now provided in LI 33-503.
