Restated NI 43-101 and NI 44-101 come into force on December 30, 2005

The Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments) Amendment Regulations, 2005 (No. 8) come into force on December 30, 2005.  The regulations repeal and replace National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects and  National Instrument 44-101 Short Form Prospectus Distributions.

The Commission regulations repeal and replace the following forms:

Form 43-101F1 Technical Report;

Form 44-101F1 Short Form Prospectus,
 

Consequential amendments
The Commission regulations also make consequential amendments to the following instruments: 
 

NI 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations,

NI 44-102 Shelf Distributions,

NI 44-103 Post-Receipt Pricing,

NI 51-101 Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities,

MI 11-101 Principal Regulator System.

Companion policies

On December 30, 2005 new Companion Policy 43-101CP and Companion Policy 44-101CP will come into force.  Amendments to the following companion policies will also be adopted on the same date:

44-102CP,

44-103CP,

51-101CP
