Application by the Mutual Fund
Dealers Association of Canada for Amendment of its Recognition
Order and for Consent to Enter into a Co-operative Agreement in
Quebec
The Mutual Fund Dealers
Association of Canada ("MFDA") has applied to the
Commission to amend and restate Commission Order 11-903 which
recognized the MFDA as a self-regulatory organization. The
MFDA has also submitted an application to the Commission for
consent to enter into an arrangement in Quebec with the Bureau
des services financiers and the Chambre de la securite
financiere for these agencies to perform certain regulatory
functions with respect to MFDA Members and Approved Persons in
Quebec.
