Commission
issues decision regarding sanctions against Euston Capital
Corporation and George Schwartz
The Saskatchewan Financial Services
Commission has issued a
decision dated March 27, 2008 setting out reasons for the
sanctions it imposed on Euston Capital Corporation and George
Schwartz in its
decision dated February 9, 2006.
The Commission's latest decision is in
response to a
decision of the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan dated
February 14, 2008. In that decision the Court of Appeal
found that the Commission erred in failing to provide reasons for
the sanctions it imposed against Euston and Schwartz.
