On April 30, 2003, the Director of the Securities Division of
the Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission made General
Ruling/Order 31-802 Extending Time Periods under MI 31-102 and MI
33-109 ("GRO 31-802").
GRO 31-802 grants exemptions from the provisions of
Multilateral Instruments 31-102 National Registration Database and
33-109 Registration Information extending the time in which
registrants are required to file certain information under the
transitional provisions of Multilateral Instruments 31-102
National Registration Database and 33-109 Registration
Information. The time periods have been extended from May 30, 2003
until September 30, 2003.
There is a significant concern about the quality of the data
converted from the Commission’s internal registration system to
NRD. Therefore it was necessary to extend the time period to allow
registrants to enter and correct the data.
