Multilateral Instruments 31-102 National Registration Database and 33-109 Registration Information come into force

The Minister of Justice has approved The Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments) Amendment Regulations, 2003. The regulations adopt Multilateral Instrument 31-102 National Registration Database. MLI 31-102, along with Companion Policy 31-102CP becomes effective on March 31, 2003, except for section 7.1 and 7.2 of MLI 31-102 which came into force on February 3, 2003.

The regulations also adopt Multilateral Instrument 33-109 Registration Information along with the following forms:

• Form 33-109F1 Notice of Termination,
•  
• Form 33-109F2 Change or Surrender of Individual Categories,
•  
• Form 33-109F3 Business Locations Other Than Head Office,
•  
• Form 33-109F4 Registration Information for an Individual, and
•  
• Form 33-109F5 Change of Registration Information.

MLI 33-109, the forms and Companion Policy 33-109CP all become effective on February 21, 2003.
